A turn of the century steel and brass rim lock
Dismantled, cleaned, greased and buffed up to make a pretty little lock.
The components are all good quality castings with very little sign of wear, especially considering their age.
An area of the rear cover plate has rusted away but the area surrounding
this is sound and the rough edges of the rusted portion have been smoothed out
A very attractive and durable small rim lock with original keep.
